Colin has lived all his life in Islip where he was inspired early on by his artist uncles Geoff and Don Clarke.
Originally a stone mason, he became a full time painter in 1990. He is most at home painting the English countryside in all seasons. He has exhibited in various galleries, including the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours at the Mall Galleries in London, and a couple of shows in Tokyo.
When not painting he enjoys film making and restoring old farm carts and wagons.
